                 How to use the site    - How to find something specific.

This directory has 3 main ways to find what you are looking for.


 
1.  The simple old fashioned way that's much faster with a mouse!

All inclusive Business

The All inclusive Business is like the old fashioned paper yellow page index. You look for the category (known as a keyword on the internet) The All inclusive Business  is located on the home page and looks like this

Simply browse the index until you find the category (keyword) you want. Then click on that category. Browse the Keyword category to find a business you want to contact.

2. The General Business Category Index on the home page is Fast 

This may be a somewhat faster way of finding things. Lets say you are looking for person to do a mortgage loan for your new home.  In the General Business Category Index you would look for "Finance" or "Money" Clicking on that General category will take you to a page that has everything having to do with finance on it. You would probably click on real estate loans or mortgage brokers. That is fast.

3. USE  the Search (Fastest method)  

The 3rd way is to do a search on any page in the search box. If you type in "mortgage loans" you will receive a list of all of the pages that have to do with mortgager loans. 
 

Which you use depends on how you prefer to work.

Specific Company

If you are looking for a Specific Company you can check under the category the company may be listed under.  For instance Beringer is a Winery in St Helena in the Napa Valley.

1. One way to find it is simply to click on Wine on the General Business Category Index on the home page which takes you to our wine page index. When you are there you can click on Wineries and then click St Helena and find Beringer.

Another way is to use the the directory just like an old fashioned phone book (but much faster) by going to category directory.  Here you can look under the category your company might be under. For instance wineries.

2. The All inclusive Business is extensive and covers everything. It's found on the main page and looks like this.

3. The easiest and fastest way to find a specific listing by company name, an address, a phone or a keyword is to use our Search.
 

located on every page. If you type in Beringer into the box the next page will all the pages with information on Beringer.  Click on the page you want to see.

Spelling is important. You need to spell Beringer correctly. For instance if you spell the word  "beranger" you will receive a statement like

Beranger
Sorry, there are no matches for on this site.
 
It did not find the misspelling.
 
Searches are very specific but needs an exact spelling. and need to be spelled the way it is listed. For instance all phone number in the directory are listed with digits a dash and digits  ex 222-2222 If you type 222 2222 you will not find what you arte looking for But  you type it correctly  (for our data base that is)  222-2222 you will get the name and address of the company it belongs to. and address would be the same 123 main can not be found under 123main.

Let's say you are looking for "fountain"
 
1. On our  main page you can use our
General Business Category Index

Click On on the general term garden. This will take you to general garden page. From there click on fountains if there is such a category. Look for a business there.    

The main directory on the home page  Fast 

Another method is to use our

All inclusive Business   Click a letter.


Simply browse the index until you find the category (keyword) you want - Fountains.  Then click on that category.  Browse the Keyword category to find a business you want to contact. This is the slowest method but the computer and mouse make if much faster

 

3. Search (Fastest method)  

The 3rd way is to do a search on any page in any of our search box. If you type in "fountains" you will receive a list of all of the pages that have to do with fountains.
